PF Awards 2009 - Winners announced
The winners of the 18th annual Professional Fundraising Awards have been announced, with the Alzheimer's Society taking the title of Charity of the Year.
Other organisations honoured include Cancer Research UK, the Fawcett Society, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and Save the Children.
Our Outstanding Contribution honour has been awarded to Erich Reich, the founder of Classic Tours, who organised the first charity challenge event in 1992.

50 Most Influential 2009
A new entry tops this year's 50 Most Influential Poll - the donor.
Former title holder Joe Saxton of nfpSynergy drops seven places to number eight, in a top ten which includes three other new entries.
More consultants make an appearance than last year, but fundraisers are moving up the ranks with nine in the top 20 this year.
